Successful, 2-Years Young Physical Therapy Group Serving Lakewood-Long Beach and Surrounding Southern California Communities Expands Services and Accepted Insurance Plans
November 20, 2024, Lakewood (California) – Functional Rehabilitation Center is excited to announce its new brand identity as The PT People, underscoring their commitment to a multitude of physical therapy needs in the Southern California healthcare market. Addressing hundreds on-site appointments per week, the need to expand its on-site footprint by adding new locations, increasing at-home therapy offerings, and securing new IP and insurance contracts; the partners, Carlos Pineda III and Bryce Lindsey have decided to rebrand.
Currently, patients undergoing therapy for issues such as strength deficits, fall-prevention, recovering from surgery, stroke, Parkinson’s Disease and other nervous and musculoskeletal system afflictions, are improving their mobility, gaining strength and extending their pursuit of optimal and healthy aging. At The PT People, it‘s believed that “Movement is Medicine.”
Regarding the name change, CEO and Co-Founder, Carlos Pineda III, DPT, had this to say:
“Functional Rehabilitation is what we DO but The PT People is who we ARE. As we continue to grow and expand services, we thought we should choose a name that encompasses everything we do under the umbrella of physical therapy. We ARE The PT People and the community can count on us for the best physical, occupational, and speech therapy available.”
