Nobody puts off care because they stopped caring. They put it off because they don’t know what it will cost, and finding out feels like another chore.

So here is the plain version. The PT People is in network with local Southern California IPA groups including Optum, ADOC and Regal. We also accept major national plans like United Healthcare, Healthnet and Cigna. All PPOs are welcome.

Fourteen plans in total. If you don’t see yours on the list, that is not a no. Call us and we’ll check.

On Medicare? Read this part twice.

We are specialists at working with Medicare. It is the coverage we know best, and the paperwork we are hardest to surprise on.

Here is the part most people are never told. The Jimmo Settlement Agreement of 2013 obliges Medicare to cover skilled therapy that maintains a condition or slows decline.

You do not have to be improving to qualify. If skilled therapy is what keeps you steady on the stairs, keeps the swelling down, or keeps you moving safely, that is a covered reason to be here.

Nobody should be discharged from their own independence because a chart stopped showing progress. If you were told therapy was finished, ask us to look again.

What we can’t tell you from a web page.

We can’t promise what your specific plan will pay. Nobody honest can. Deductibles reset, employers switch products, and two people holding the same card can owe different amounts.

What we can do is find out for you before you book anything.

Send your details through the benefits check below and we’ll call you with the real number. No guessing at the front desk, no surprise bill three weeks later.

So what does physical therapy cost?

The honest short answer is that it depends: on your plan, your deductible, and what you are being treated for.

The useful answer is that you can know before you commit. That is the entire reason the benefits check exists.

Worker’s compensation cases run on their own rules, so call us and ask before you book.

One more reason not to wait on this.

You’ve spent a lifetime making sure the paperwork got handled for everyone else in your family.

Let us handle this one. Nobody regrets starting too early. Plenty of people wish they hadn’t waited.

Questions about referrals, session length or what to bring? They’re answered on our FAQ.
