About The PT People

The clinic that treats the cause.

Most clinics manage your symptoms and call it a plan. We built this place to end them: one-on-one with a licensed physical therapist, every single visit.

Our Story

This isn’t our story. It’s yours.

The PT People did not start out as The PT People. For years this clinic ran under a different name, doing the same work for the same neighbors, on the same corner of South Street. Changing the name was not a fresh coat of paint. It was a decision to be named after the part that actually matters.

Dr. Carlos Pineda III co-founded it after fourteen years as a Director of Rehabilitation in skilled nursing homes. That is a long time spent with people at the exact moment independence starts slipping: after the fall, after the stroke, after the diagnosis nobody saw coming. It is also where he learned how often the difference between getting it back and not comes down to whether anyone bothered to find the cause.

So the clinic got built around that. Physical therapy and a dozen other specialties in one building, so care never gets scattered across town. A cause-first evaluation. One therapist who owns your whole visit. A plan with an endpoint. The people who do best here are the ones who fix things: their houses, their teams, their families. This is where they finally fix the thing they’ve been putting off: themselves.

What We Believe

Four things we’ll never compromise.

Your visit. Not shared.

No techs bouncing between rooms, no handoffs mid-visit. Just you and a licensed physical therapist, the whole time.

Cause first. Symptoms follow.

You’ve probably chased the pain itself before and never found why it started. We find the why, then the ache stops coming back.

Plans end. That’s the point.

You shouldn’t need a punch card. Every plan comes with a graduation date, so you always know how close you are.

You’re not a protocol.

Your job, your body, your goals: that’s what your plan is built around, never pulled from a generic sheet.

The Difference

Not your typical clinic.

A typical clinic

  • You explain your pain to a different aide every visit
  • Your visit gets split with two other patients
  • The same pain creeps back in a few months
  • No graduation date, just book again next week

The PT People

  • One-on-one with a licensed physical therapist, every visit
  • Your full visit, uninterrupted, every time
  • A cause-first evaluation before we treat anything
  • A plan with an endpoint, mapped out on day one

Know what is wrong from your first visit.
